EU Commission Plans to Improve EU Communication with EU citizens

We commented recenty that there was an urgent need to install more modern PR measures to sell the EU to the public.

Lucia Kubosova at the EU Observer reports that "Brussels plans to boost EU press coverage". She writes:

"The European Commission is set to float the idea of an EU press agency and code of conduct for the bloc's institutions and journalists, aimed at boosting communication channels to and from citizens."

A "white paper on communication" will be released by the EU Commision on this subject today.
